Singapore-made electric race car taking shape
Car manufacturing is taking place in its rawest form on the SUTD campus in Changi. In a project started in late 2020, a group of 15 engineering product development, computer science and design students fabricated an aluminium alloy spaceframe for an open-top tandem two-seater.

To explore and harness the potential of autonomous cleaning robots, 90 students from 19 secondary schools, junior colleges, institutes of technical education and tertiary institutions competed in the second edition of RoboRoarZ at SUTD.

The computer science and design course at SUTD continues to be popular with students. SUTD said: “The school is heartened to have received more applications from polytechnic graduates including students from Engineering, Computing and Architectural Design courses. This helps to reinforce the diversity of students, creating a richer learning experience.”
RoboRoarZ National Competition
