Poh Say Lam Family (傅世南家族) – SUTD Bursary

The Poh Say Lam Family (傅世南家族) – SUTD Bursary is established to promote access to education and provide opportunities to students, particularly those with demonstrated financial need.
Eligibility
  • Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Resident
  • Full-time undergraduate students of the University in any year of study in any degree programme
  • Demonstrated financial need with monthly household per capita income of S$2,250 and below
Benefits of award
  • The value of each award will be commensurate with the recipient’s level of financial need and shall be applied towards the payment of annual tuition fees and study-related expenses.
  • The award is tenable for 1 academic year.
  • There is no bond to be fulfilled towards the donor.
Terms & conditions
  1. The recipient may not, without the approval of the University, hold concurrently any other scholarships or grants.
  2. The recipient must have taken up the Tuition Grant Scheme by the Singapore Government during enrolment.?Read more on the Tuition Grant Scheme here.

 

 

THIS BURSARY AWARD IS ESTABLISHED IN HONOUR OF THE LATE MR POH SAY LAM

 

Mr Poh was a magnanimous, generous and kind father who instilled in his children the significance of pursuing a good education in order to become productive members of society. Leading by example, he encouraged the family to be benevolent and share as a family as well as a community. To commemorate his legacy and in gratitude to Mr Poh’s insistence on education, the Poh Family has established this bursary in his name to honour the values that he held dear and provide the gift of education to students in need.
