Graduates from the Specialist Diploma in Data Science in the below domains will be able to utilise up to 12 subject credits to offset from the stipulated 72 subject credits when applying for the ModularMaster�� Certificate in Data Science.

Nanyang Polytechnic

Graduates from the Specialist Diploma in the below domains will be able to utilise their corresponding subject credits to offset from the stipulated 72 subject credits when applying for the ModularMaster Certificate in Data Science.

Ngee Ann Polytechnic

Graduates from the Specialist/Advanced Diploma in the below domains will be able to utilise up to 12 subject credits to offset from the stipulated 72 subject credits when applying for the ModularMaster Certificate in Data Science.

  • Data Preparation & Modelling (up to 12 subject credits)
  • Machine Learning (up to 12 subject credits)

The previous modules under SDDA – Data Wrangling (up to 12 subject credits) and Descriptive Analytics (up to 12 subject credits) are eligible for credit exemption.

Exempted module (choose 1):

• Foundation of Data Science; or
• Data Storytelling with Visualisation

*Learners are encouraged to take up Foundation of Data Science as setting the right foundation is crucial

• Specialist Diploma in Artificial Intelligence for Engineers (SDAIE)
  • Data Handling and information Visualisation (up to 12 subject credits)
  • Machine Learning System Engineering (up to 12 subject credits)
  • Machine Learning Algorithm Development (up to 12 subject credits)

Exempted module (choose 1):

• Foundation of Data Science; or
• Data Science Modelling with Programming

*Learners are encouraged to take up Foundation of Data Science as setting the right foundation is crucial.
