1. (SCTP module) Augmented Reality (AR) Experience Design

Transform physical spaces by thoughtfully integrating digital experiences with the real world. This course focuses on designing Augmented Reality (AR) solutions that enhance user interactions without distracting from their physical environment.

 

Participants will master the principles of spatial computing while learning to develop enterprise-ready applications that prioritise practicality and user value. Gain the skills to create experiences that seamlessly blend digital information with physical spaces, ensuring functional and impactful results for industries such as retail, education, and enterprise.


2. (SCTP module) Experience Design Fundamentals

This course introduces participants to the essential principles and methodologies of experience design, providing a strong foundation for conceptualising impactful spatial and immersive experiences.

 

Participants will explore design thinking, user research techniques, and experience mapping to address design challenges in both physical and digital environments.

 

Whether you are transitioning into the tech industry or exploring immersive technologies for the first time, this course equips you with future-ready skills to conceptualise and plan for platforms like spatial computing, augmented reality/virtual reality (AR/VR), and mixed reality. By the end of the course, participants will have a solid understanding of the principles and strategies required to design for emerging platforms, paving the way for further studies or career exploration in this dynamic field.


3. (SCTP module) Digital Design & Prototyping

This course equips learners with essential digital prototyping skills, progressing from foundational concepts to practical implementation. Starting with prototyping fundamentals, learners advance through two-dimensional (2D) interface design, interactive prototyping, and spatial design principles.

 

The course emphasises hands-on experience with industry-standard prototyping tools while incorporating user testing methodologies throughout the learning journey. Through project-based learning, participants develop both individual and collaborative prototyping skills applicable to real-world scenarios.


4. (SCTP module) Extended Reality (XR) Studio

Step into the world of immersive technologies and tackle real-world challenges through hands-on extended reality (XR) projects. Design, prototype, and develop innovative XR solutions while building a professional portfolio piece. Guided by industry mentors, you鈥檒l gain practical experience in leading experience design projects from concept to completion, showcasing your ability to create impactful and cutting-edge immersive experiences.


5. (SCTP module) Immersive Design & Development

Bridge the gap between traditional interface design and immersive technologies through hands-on exploration of spatial computing principles. This course combines a design-first approach with essential foundational knowledge, empowering participants to think in three dimensions while addressing user needs and real-world constraints.

 

Gain a strong conceptual understanding of the technical and design fundamentals underlying augmented reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) development. 6. (SCTP module) Spatial Computing Design

Through hands-on projects, explore user-centred design and build enterprise-focused applications that consider human factors, environmental awareness, and real-world constraints.
