Overview
Shenzhen, often referred to as China鈥檚 Silicon Valley, has rapidly emerged as the leading hub for innovation and technology in China. With a Gross Domestic Product (GDP) of nearly US$500 billion, over 40% of which is generated by high-tech industries, Shenzhen ranks seventh globally and first in China on the Global City Competitiveness Index. Shenzhen is home to many innovative tech startups and several Chinese tech giants, including Tencent, Huawei, and DJI.
This programme emphasises experiential learning through case studies, panel discussions, site visits, and class presentations, equipping participants to understand and navigate Shenzhen鈥檚 AI and robotics ecosystem, explore collaboration opportunities across the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA) and Southeast Asia, engage with Tsinghua University alumni and industry leaders, and develop actionable business strategies for AI and robotics partnerships leveraging insights gained throughout the programme.
