The Entrepreneurship Capstone, a distinctive program exclusively for final-year SUTD students, presents a unique avenue for transforming innovative concepts into practical startup ventures. This comprehensive program provides a structured framework that guides students through the entire process, from initial ideation to execution, culminating in marketplace entry.
Students undertaking Entrepreneurship Capstone projects gain access to valuable resources and guidance from Venture and Incubation Experience (VIE). This collaborative approach ensures that while students fulfil the academic stipulations of the project, they concurrently gain practical expertise in refining their entrepreneurial concepts. The dual benefit of this program enables students to graduate not only with a degree but potentially with a nascent business, effectively bridging the gap between academia and real-world application.

Will I get modular credits for attending this programme?
Yes, you will be accorded credits for programmes that are part of academic requirements in line with the guidelines of the Office of Education.

What kind of support and resources are available over the program duration?

How long does this programme last, and what does the commitment look like?
Typically between 12 to 14 weeks. Apart from attending the workshops, you may be expected to complete assignments outside of class (e.g., interviewing customers, preparing pitches and actively consulting your mentor).
As our programmes are designed to take you from zero-to-one in the most efficient way, we encourage you to follow through the full course of the programme. We understand if you have one-off commitments which might affect your attendance, but do make time if you are signing up.
