‘Innovation by Design – A New Post-Graduate Program at SUTD’ was selected as ‘One of the Most Distinguished Papers’ at the 8th International Conference on Research in Design (ICoRD 2021) from 7 to 10 January 2021, and was held online at the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Mumbai India.

This paper focuses on design thinking, which has been gaining importance in training and education worldwide. However, these are mostly found in short courses and executive education, and often lacks the depth required to effectively practice the tools and methods learnt. This new master of engineering (research) in Innovation by Design (MIbD) has been set up to address this perceived gap in education, and you may read the entire paper shown below.
