Biography
U-Xuan has been with Singapore University of Technology and Design since 2012 where he has been working on various robotics and automation related projects. His research focus is in situ sensing and control for various unstructured / adverse environment conditions. He is currently the Chair of SUTD Institutional Review Board and is also a Senior Visiting Academician with Changi General Hospital. Prior to joining SUTD, he did his post-doctorate research with Professor Jaydev Desai at University of Maryland, College Park. He earned both his BEng (with a Minor in Business) and PhD (Advisor: Professor Ang Wei Tech) in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
