In place of conventional computer-aided design methods, Digital Heritage and Tectonics is revolutionizing the field of architectural conservation. Combining data acquisition and 3D printing systems, Digital Heritage and Tectonics makes it possible 鈥 and practical 鈥 to reproduce historical artefacts.聽 In education, this will mean a new and more hands-on learning experience, allowing people to discover about the past as they create artefact models.聽 This innovation has been used successfully to replicate the iconic dragon sculptural wall in Yueh Hai Ching Temple, one of Singapore鈥檚 oldest places of worship.
