Silence Laboratories, a cybersecurity firm headquartered in Singapore, has closed a US$1.7 million (about S$2.4m) round in seed funding, led by pi Ventures. The founders, Jay Prakash and Andrei Bytes earned their doctorate degrees at SUTD, where the company was incubated.

SUTD Secures First Green Loan From DBS to Finance Campus Land Cost
The Singapore University of Technology and Design has obtained a 20-year S$84 million green loan from DBS to finance the land costs in relation to its campus. Green loan is in line with SUTD鈥檚 Sustainability Plan to integrate sustainability into its business and operations.
