SUTD Signs MOU with James Dyson Foundation and Announcement of New MOE Scholarship
SUTD and the James Dyson Foundation signed an MOU to collaborate on the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Singapore and inspire the next generation’s interest in this area. The signing was witnessed by Minister for Education Mr Chan Chun Sing.
MOE launches engineering and technology scholarships for pre-university students
MOE’s newly launched Engineering and Technology Scholarship will support students’ tuition fees in the junior colleges and pre-university institutions, with an annual cap of $2,400 and a yearly allowance of $1,000 for two years.
Book on Digital Gastronomy to Be Launched
Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, says in his foreword for the book, “my heartiest congratulations to Professor Chua and his team for their efforts in pushing the boundaries of 3D food printing technology. In this area, Singapore is a leader in the world, and I hope SUTD will continue to play a pioneering role.”
