MOE’s newly launched Engineering and Technology Scholarship will support students’ tuition fees in the junior colleges and pre-university institutions, with an annual cap of $2,400 and a yearly allowance of $1,000 for two years.

SUTD and the James Dyson Foundation signed an MOU to collaborate on the promotion of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) education in Singapore and inspire the next generation’s interest in this area. The signing was witnessed by Minister for Education Mr Chan Chun Sing.

Mr Ong Ye Kung, Minister for Health, says in his foreword for the book, “my heartiest congratulations to Professor Chua and his team for their efforts in pushing the boundaries of 3D food printing technology. In this area, Singapore is a leader in the world, and I hope SUTD will continue to play a pioneering role.”

The launch of 5G networks, longer-lasting batteries and better sensors are among developments in the past two years that have brought the concept of unmanned drone doorstep delivery of parcels closer to reality here.
